Today we performed Letter Home beneath the Lancaster bomber at RAF Museum Hendon.
Inspired by stories from WWI, Simona’s choreography highlights the lives of a family and relationships within their immediate community.
Simona’s work shows the fragility of human life and takes a look at the destruction that war brings to all, whilst reflecting on how war still affects people’s lives today.
Spending a day at the RAF Museum Hendon on their 70th anniversary celebrations of D-day was a wonderful experience and gave an insightful context to the choreography for both the dancers and audience!
